He is one of the early ambassadors of DnB in North America, having cemented his position with seminal releases on Metalheadz, Renegade Hardware, Hospital, and more. His modern-day sound is best characterized by retro-synthetic soundscapes, pulsing basslines and blistering drums. STRANJAH also runs his own record label Deviant Audio uncovering new talent and exploring the boundaries of bass music. His goals in 2021 are to further push the confines of bass music, while bringing his knowledge to a new generation of music producers through his YouTube channel.

He is a Toronto producer with music releases on Deviant, Hospital, Flight Pattern and more, with premieres including Skankandbass, Drum & Bass Arena, and DnB Portal. Tyr is also the vocal engineer on all of my DnB recordings, the DJ for my live performances, the tech supervisor on this podcast, and we make a lot of music together too. With a devotion to forward-thinking DnB, Tyr has been sharpening his prowess in sound design since 2012, and is regarded by peers as a "scientist of sound". He is a mixing/mastering wizard and self-taught in video and photo.
